Historical sync
Backfill up to 90 days of ad performance so analytics, alerts, and forecasts have signal from day one.
Historical sync
Most INGB features work on whatever data is already in your account. Forecasts, seasonality detection, and trend analyses benefit from a longer history. Historical sync backfills past Amazon Ads report data so the heavier-statistics features have signal sooner.
When to run it
- ✓Run it on first connection so every feature is fully usable.
- ✓Run it again after adding new profiles to extend their history.
- ✗Run it repeatedly for the same window — re-running fetches the same days again.
How to trigger it
Open the historical sync dialog
On Your setup, click Pull more history on the Your history card. (Available once sales or advertising is connected.)
Pick the window
Choose how many days of history to backfill. Available options: 7, 15, 30, 60, or 90 days. Amazon keeps Sponsored Brands reports for 60 days and Sponsored Display for 65, so on a 90-day pull those two stop short; Sponsored Products and sales reach the whole window.
Start the job
The job runs in the background. You'll see live status in the dialog — queued, syncing, completed, partial, or failed.
What gets backfilled
The job fetches the standard Amazon Ads daily reports for the selected window and writes them to the same fact tables your day-to-day reports use. As soon as a day is ingested, every relevant feature can query it.
What it unlocks
Analytics
Trends need history — a longer backfill makes the comparison periods meaningful.
Reports
Period Comparison can only look back as far as the data you have pulled.
